  8.      DDATE is a utility program that lets you delete or display files,
  9.      from your floppy or hard disks, by date.  DDATE is able to search
  10.          all directories and sub-directories on the current drive.  DDATE
  11.          can also search directories which are "Read Only" and "Hidden".
  12.          DDATE 1.3 has the ability to pause and prompt you to press a key,
  13.          if the screen fills up with information.
  14.  
  15.      Switches (Optional):
  16.          The /s switch will tell DDATE to search all the
  17.       /s     directories and sub-directories on the current
  18.          working drive.  If the /s switch is not used, DDATE
  19.          will only search the current working directory.
  20.  
  21.          The /n switch will turn off the file delete
  22.      /n     confirmation. DDATE automatically deletes files,
  23.          with dates that match the one you typed with the
  24.          command, without your consent!  BE CAREFUL WITH
  25.          THIS SWITCH!!!

  27.          The /l switch can be used if you want to list
  28.     /l     the files that have the date you specified without
  29.          any deletions.  It will work with the /s switch or
  30.          it can work alone by only listing files in the current
  31.          directory.  DDATE will ignore the /n switch if it used
  32.          with /l thus preventing any data loss.  When the /l is
  33.          used, DDATE will pause and prompt you to press a key if
  34.          the screen fills up, allowing you to view the information
  35.          easily.

  39.      You can use any one of these date formats for a valid
  40.      date entry:  (n can only be a number)
  41.          n-n-n    n-n-nn    n-nn-nn    nn-n-n
  42.          nn-n-nn    nn-nn-n    nn-nn-nn
  43.      Slashes ("/") are also legal separators that can be used
  44.      instead of hyphens ("-").

  46.      To see instant help from DDATE just type "DDATE" without
  47.      a date.  Also take a look at the UPDATE.TXT file that comes
  48.      with DDATE1_3.ZIP.  It contains a history of revisions and
  49.      additons to DDATE.
